Hello there!
My name is Naras Gayatri Prameswari. I am an international student from Indonesia, studying in Augustana College! Oh no, not the one in Rock Island, IL, it’s the cooler one in Sioux Falls, SD!

I am studying abroad with AIFS this summer in Athens, Greece.
Yes, I will study abroad while studying abroad. Awesome!
There are many reasons I want to study in Greece. Ever since seeing The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants and seeing the beauty of Santorini i have wanted to go. And I have been interested in Greece and Greek history ever since. Hercules, Clash of the Titans– if it’s Greek related I love it.
One day I thought, “Why don’t I go directly to Greece? What could be better than studying Greek history in Greece??”
So, I talked to my Augustana International Program officers and they recommended the AIFS summer program in Athens. I will be taking Modern Greece: A Troubled History and a sociology course.
I enjoy studying abroad and I encourage people to study abroad! It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and it will improve your life. It provides the opportunity to see the world from a different perspectives and to make so many friends. I literally have friends all over the world thanks to my studying abroad experience in the US. So, studying abroad in Greece will expand my international friendship even more!
I think that’s all I can say for now. If you are interested in my time in Greece, follow me or send me a tweet @narasnaras!
I’ll see you in Athens!
αντίο!
