1) First place goes to Caitlin who studied abroad in Salzburg:
Looking down on the beautiful landscape of Werfen, Austria from the largest ice cave in the world.
2) Second place goes to Emmie who studied abroad in London:
This was taken at Caerphilly Castle in Cardiff, Wales. I had the best fall semester because of the amazing people, wonderful experiences and memories to last a lifetime.
3) Third place goes to Sal, who studied abroad in Rome, and whose twist on the classic tourist photo is one of our all time favorites:
This was taken in Pisa, Italy with none other than the leaning tower of Pisa. I traveled all over Europe and met incredible people which is why I had the best fall ever.
4) And lastly our Judge’s Prize goes to German, who studied abroad in Paris:
This was taken in Cinque Terre, Italy. I had the opportunity to travel all over Europe, learn French, and EAT ALL THE AMAZING FOOD. I can’t forget all the amazing people I met.
Reading the captions people included with their photos, students talked about the transformative experience of study abroad. But they almost always talked about how the experience was so special because of the friends they made along the way. So with that in mind, we loved this photo of the beautiful Cinque Terre in the background, and our students in the foreground, laughing, smiling and making memories that will last a lifetime.
