As I anxiously prepare to embark on my multi-country trip around Europe for the summer, I have prepared myself in a variety of important ways: prepared my palette for new culinary experiences, thoroughly examined every detail of our itinerary, and studied as much as I could about each city’s beautiful sites. However, the most important preparation for me personally was crafting an excellent and country appropriate playlist to accompany me along the way. I plan on listing each song on my playlist when I arrive at each new location, but since I’m a very impatient person by nature I thought I would give a sneak peek of my playlist for my first stop aptly titled “Jolly Old England.” For this playlist I wanted to incorporate a lot of pounding, money-spending anthems (as I plan on visiting Selfridges Department Store on Oxford Street) as well as some of my favorite artists that actually hail from that part of the world. Since the Electronic music scene in England is one of the biggest in the world I decided to include a lot of songs that matched that vibe as well. I really hope that you enjoy the first taste of what’s to come on my full sensory expedition across Europe!
