Our fall students are off to a great start to their semesters abroad! What are they up to? From India to Ireland, our fall bloggers are writing about their expectations, their first impressions and what they’ve learned so far.
Mary Kate on Florence:
Florence is absolutely breathtaking! What a privilege to have such incredible views as part of my daily commute to and from class. I love learning about the Italian culture and figuring out how to live life here. So far I have learned that bread is addictive, and we as Americans do not go unnoticed! I am doing my best to learn the language and engross myself in the city of Firenze. Walking around with my roommate and discovering new things is one of my favorite hobbies thus far. We look forward to seeing what the rest of our semester offers us! This weekend we are off to the Amalfi Coast! Ciao!
Lauren on Ireland:
Ireland is everything I wanted, needed, and more! It’s an endless exploration of nature, culture, history, and other delightful things. If anyone makes it out to the Emerald Isle, I’d be happy to be your host! This picture was take at the Ring of Kerry.
