We are excited to launch two new programs for J Term 2016: Dublin and the Galapagos Islands!

The Galapagos Islands

Study environmental science with academic field excursions that take students from Quito, Ecuador, to San Cristobal and Santa Cruz Islands in the Galapagos. Students will explore and study the islands, witnessing the tortoises, birds and other plants and wildlife made famous by Darwin’s voyage. Read more on our website.


Study Modern Irish Writing at the world renowned Trinity College and immerse yourself in the Irish literary tradition. Students will read  William Butler Yeats and Patrick Kavanagh, discuss the theatre of J.M Synge, Samuel Beckett, and Conor McPherson, consider the short stories of James Joyce, and Claire Keegan and explore the imagination of Irish novelists such as Kate O’Brien.

Continue learning ourside of the classroom with visits to the Old Library and the Book of Kells, guest lectures with Irish authors and poets, sessions on manuscripts and archives at the historic Trinity College Library, theater visits and more. Find out more on our website.
