Bonjour a tous!
This weekend a couple of us kids in the AIFS group decided to visit Nice. For those who don’t know Nice is located in the south of France on the Mediterranean Sea; it takes five hours from Grenoble to reach Nice via the TGV train. We left Friday morning around 5 am and arrived in Nice by 11.
We decided to go to Nice during this specific weekend because Carnival is still going on in Nice. There were so many parades, colors, and crazy costumes!
On Saturday it rained the entire day but that didn’t stop us from exploring the town. We ended up in the old town and walked through a little outdoor market with plenty of flowers, spices, candy, and paintings for sale.
On Sunday we spent the morning on the beach enjoying our petit-dejeuner and croissants! We spent the entire day on the beach until our train departed for Grenoble. Nice was such a great place to visit, and I will visit again in the future. Next stop is Geneva, Switzerland!
