AIFS “Capture the Culture” Video Contest Winners Announced

by AIFS Study Abroad
AIFS Study Abroad - Capture the Culture - Video Contest Winners 2016

We’re always on the lookout for awesome footage that truly depicts what it’s like to be a student abroad. The AIFS Capture the Culture Video Contest is an opportunity for students and alumni to present content that they feel, well, captures the culture best. We ask candidates to submit videos that make them remember a special time and place that defined their trip overseas.

We had so many fantastic compilations and memories submitted to the contest this time around, making it very difficult to judge which videos would be victorious. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Without further ado, here are our winners.

Grand Prize

Congratulations to Madeline May, who studied abroad with AIFS in Barcelona, Spain for the Spring 2016 semester!

“This was the optional London stopover package that I took with AIFS! My home study abroad city was Barcelona, but we only had class Monday-Thursday, so the other 3 days we were always traveling! London was a fabulous city, and AIFS took care of everything for us there – the tours, the buses, the airport transportation and the hotel. This was one of the easiest weekends I had traveling.”

Congratulations to Madeline May, who studied abroad with AIFS in Barcelona, Spain for the Spring 2016 semester!

“This was my own study abroad location! We had school Monday-Thursday and travelled on all of our 3 day weekends. It was the perfect balance: plenty of time in Barcelona and a perfect amount of time to take a short trip across Europe all in one week. This video also features clips from the weekend in the Pyrenees included in the AIFS program.”
