Before arriving in London, I did not know what to expect. I was full of many emotions, nervous about living in a new city and an unfamiliar country, wondering if my host mom would like me and anxious to meet new people from all over the world.
This program has given me a core group of classmates that I study and attend activities with, they are from all over the United States. Some of us hit it off straight away – I remember after the first day of class a few of us explored the British Museum. I knew right then I would be making some lifelong friendships this semester.
London is an adventure and I am determined to explore as much as possible during these (almost) three months. Trying new things is key in learning about different cultures and experiencing new ways of life, what a better way to do it than with new and exciting people you meet along the way?!
