AIFS is accepting applications to study abroad in Stellenbosch, South Africa for the Fall 2017 semester, Spring 2018 semester and the full 2017-2018 Academic Year. Live in a single room in a student residence at the heart of campus during your stay; official transcripts issued by Stellenbosch University. All courses are taught in English. Semesters run July to November (Fall equivalent) and January to June (Spring equivalent).

Program Options include:

  • Full Curriculum Program (up to 15 credits per semester Stellenbosch University; select choice of up to five courses from full catalog)
  • Learning for Sustainable Community Engagement Program (LSCE) (up to 15 credits per semester at Stellenbosch University; earn Service Learning Certificate; 9 credit LSCE course plus one or two electives from full curriculum)
  • Excursions and Travel (day trips to Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope & Boulders Beach, Cape Town & Robben Island, plus a Beach, Craft and Food Market excursion day and a 6-day Garden Route tour)
  • AIFS Flight Package (coordinated round-trip airfare and ground transportation at arrival and departure)

All AIFS programs include orientation, housing and a meal plan, an onsite Resident Director, cultural activities and excursions, insurance and 24/7 emergency assistance.
