Lucas — AIFS in Athens, Greece
California Lutheran University
My name is Lucas Shaker and I’m a senior at California Lutheran University. I am pursuing two majors, one in psychology and the other in music production. I came to Greece because how could I not? From the food to the history, Greece’s culture is rich in detail and I’m so excited to be in such a beautiful country. Some fun facts about me, I’m 6’3″, half Egyptian and I have a 35 lb cat named Luke.
Jailene — AIFS in London, England
My name is Jailene Burgos. I’m a graduating senior from Kean University studying film. I’m so excited to document this once in a lifetime journey! I chose London because it is rich in culture and very diverse. With film and media being intersectional, I thought London was the perfect place to study abroad. I want to refine my skills while taking away lessons from the people I talk to and the places I visit, and incorporating that with my work. Fun fact about me is that I’m a huge fan of superheroes, music, and baby sloths.

Alicia — AIFS in Prague, Czech Republic
College of William and Mary
Hey everyone! My name is Alicia Devereaux, and I’m a student at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. As a Religious Studies and Film and Media Studies double major, I’m studying abroad in Prague to learn about the intersection of its fascinating cultural history and its important role in the film world.
