AIFS Program: San José, Costa Rica | School: Rhode Island College | Bio: My name is Alison Macbeth and I am from Rhode Island College. When I started dreaming of studying abroad, I was overwhelmed at the idea of choosing a location. Through a lot of research I came across AIFS's program in Costa Rica and it perfectly lined up with my Spanish interest. When I started reading about Costa Rica I quickly became enamored with this beautiful, diverse and progressive country. And here I am! My studies in Communications (Public Relations) and Political Science (with a minor in International Nongovernmental Organizations) are being strengthened and re-inspired in Costa Rica. In addition to studying and reading, I love to explore farmers markets, cafes and making homemade pasta.
