AIFS Program: Florence, Italy | School: Youngstown State University | Bio: My name is Jenna Roesch and I am a senior communications major at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. I am originally from Erie, Pennsylvania which is the snowiest city in the United States! I am most excited to study abroad in Florence, Italy this fall semester because I have dreamt of traveling to Italy since I was young. I can’t wait to experience the culture of Europe and travel to see as much as possible in four months! A fun fact about me is that I’m in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of people dressed as penguins in one place at one time. This record was broken at Youngstown State University because our mascot is Pete the Penguin.
