About AIFS Global Education Centers
AIFS Global Education Centers feature modern facilities in highly desirable neighborhoods. Students can take courses, meet with staff and take advantage of libraries, technology and lounge areas at our centers.
Academic credit for the AIFS Global Education Center programs is awarded by Fairfield University. In 2020, Fairfield University and AIFS partnered to develop a school of record relationship that will allow academic credit to be available for both Fairfield and non-Fairfield students. Course syllabi and faculty credentials are reviewed and approved by Fairfield University.
Where to Find AIFS Global Education Centers
Salzburg, Austria
Located near the city center and student residence halls, AIFS has its own modern study center in Salzburg. Students take classes at the study center and can use their free time to relax in the student lounge area or work in the study room. You can meet with the AIFS Resident Director here for information and advice relating to the program, adapting to life in Austria and travel information or use the center’s library.
Rome, Italy
Located in the heart of Italy’s capital city, the AIFS Global Education Center in Rome is where most classes are held. Historic sites like the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum are within walking distance. The Resident Director is based here to help students adjust to life in Italy. Students have access to free Wi-Fi throughout the building and computers during office hours.
Florence, Italy
The AIFS Global Education Center is located in Florence’s historic center, within walking distance of major historical sites like the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio and Accademia. Numerous stores, restaurants and trattoria are nearby. The Resident Director and Student Advisors are based here to help students adjust to life in Italy. Students take most of their classes at the center and they have access to a computer lab. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
London, England
The AIFS Global Education Center is located in Kensington, one of the most picturesque and safest neighborhoods in central London. Within walking distance of half a dozen museums and three Royal parks, Kensington provides easy access to shopping, sports and entertainment. Running, horseback riding and boating are available in nearby Hyde Park.
Students studying at the AIFS Global Education Center in London have membership to the Imperial College student union, giving them access to the facilities and providing an excellent opportunity to meet British and international students.
