AIFS Program: Florence, Italy (Internship) | School: California Lutheran University | Bio: Ciao! My name is Catherine Slabaugh and I am studying in Florence, Italy this fall. I am participating in the Internship Program here in Florence, so outside my three classes I will be holding an internship at a local Florence business. At home, I attend California Lutheran University where I study Public Relations and Theology & Christian Leadership. I chose to study abroad in Florence for an opportunity to dive into the rich Italian culture, be surrounded by history and beauty daily, and step out of my California comfort zone. A fun fact about myself is that I am on the softball team at my University! I’m looking forward to writing an authentic and unique blog about my time here in Florence.
