AIFS Program: Florence, Italy | School: University of Alabama | Bio: Ciao! My name is Haley Taylor, a rising senior originally from Wisconsin, currently studying chemistry at the University of Alabama and planning on going to physician assistant school. In my free time, you can find me reading any kind of book, watching Netflix documentaries, hiking, cheering on the Crimson Tide in football and googling flights around the world, in hopes of another spontaneous trip. In the spring of 2015, I was fortunate to study in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. I gained so much more than I ever would have imagined while studying abroad for a semester: new friends, new experiences and abundant gelato. This experience helped me develop my independence and sense of self and I’m already planning my next trip back to Florence.
