AIFS Program: St. Petersburg, Russia & Berlin, Germany | School: St. John Fisher College | Bio: My name is Nolan, a 3rd year International Studies Student from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. The decision to study in Russia did not come easily. The country uses a different alphabet, has been taught to us as an enemy during the cold war and has gained significant global influence throughout the past few years. I could have viewed these as reasons to avoid this unique experience, but I chose to view them as reasons to go. I studied in Berlin during the fall semester and was fortunate enough to remain in Germany throughout break!
