Why spend January in Italy? It’s the perfect opportunity to spend your winter break earning credits and experiencing a new culture. And for some students who can’t go abroad during the rest of the year, it’s a chance to study abroad! Choose from Florence or Rome Experience the charm and liveliness of Dublin minus all the tourists.

Take Studio Art or Study Art History, Fashion or Sociology

In Florence choose from three levels of painting, an Italian fashion course or an art history course. In Rome, choose from courses in art history, religion or sociology that focus on Rome and Italy. See Florence courses here and Rome courses here.

Experience the Heart of the City

In Florence, students will stay in apartments in the historic center. Internet is included along with a meal plan. In Rome, choose from a homestay or a centrally located apartment, with meal plan and internet included.

And AIFS includes cultural activities such as museum visits, Italian cooking classes, gelato tours and more.

In Florence, AIFS offers optional excursions to Venice (3 days) and Rome (3 days) and in Rome a day trip to Perugia and Assisi is included and an optional excursion to Florence is offered (3 days).
